Présentation

Björn Nussbächer est « travailleur frontalier » de diverses manières. Il a étudié l’art et le design à la «Gerrit Rietveld Academy“ d’Amsterdam et a été impliqué dans divers programmes d’artistes en résidence, par exemple Sandimen en Rep Chine, «Tsarino“ en Bulgarie et «Setouchi“ au Japon et Motoco“, Mulhouse ( Fra). Son travail artistique a été au „NAI“, Rotterdam, au Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam et au Palais de Tokyo, Paris. Il travaille également comme charpentier et menuisier en bois et est un judoka passionné. Dans sa recherche artistique, l’autonomisation performative, la mise en scène installative et le cadre constructif jouent un rôle qui détermine l’œuvre. Ce faisant, il explore les limites au moyen de l’implication physique et réalise ces zones intermédiaires de manière performante.
