Lives and works in Taoyuan, Taiwan.

His practice spans installation, sculpture, drawing, performance, and video, with a sustained focus on delineating the boundaries and spatial landscapes, exploring the sensory interweaving between personal life experiences and the material world. His works often begin with bodily perception and close observation of textures, using shifts in scale to capture the interplay of presence and absence within space, as well as the tension and pull of boundaries. Through this, he constructs a resonant field in which emotion and material enter into dialogue.

WEI’s works have been exhibited at Tsung-yeh Arts and Culture Center (2025), New Taipei City Art Museum Park (2025), Chiayi Art Museum (2024), Hong-Gah Museum (2023), YIRI ARTS (2023, 2022, 2021), Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts (2021), and FreeS Art Space (2019). 

Recent significant exhibitions include Myriad Threads (2025) at Tsung-yeh Arts and Culture Center, Tainan; Passing Through (2025) at New Taipei City Art Museum Park, New Taipei; The Line, the Borderline, and the Floating Boundary (2024) at Chiayi Art Museum, Chiayi; Measured in Feet (2023) at Hong-Gah Museum, Taipei; and Earthworm and Dust (2023) at YIRI ARTS, Taipei.

His work has been collected by the Kaohsiung Museum of Fine Arts and has received recognition including the “First Prize of Kaohsiung Awards 2021” and the “2018 S-An Art Award.”
